Di ffrench: Activating Ideas
Di ffrench: Activating Ideas was the first major survey of this artist's work since her untimely death a decade ago and brings together twenty years of work (1977-1997), which moves between sculpture, performance, photography and film.
One of the pioneering figures in the development of multi-media and cross-disciplinary studio practice, this publication by Ann Kirker accompanied the exhibition and provides a new opportunity to reassess ffrench's strong and unique vision that consistently sought to address contemporary political, gender and social concerns.
